SEE WHAT STUDENTS SAY
My experience at Killester College (now Cathal Brugha St.) was a fun learning time for me, the Applied Ecology course was taught in classroom and with lab work and field trips which kept it interesting all the way through. The practical learning aspect really suited me and complemented the classwork modules. I had returned to school as a mature student after a long time absent and the team made it very easy to find my feet in a completely different environment than I had remembered from many years before. I made some lifelong friends who still chat regularly and share our progress. I had no idea where the course would take me but as the year unfolded it became clear that I wanted to continue my educational journey. Having consulted with the careers department I learned what all my options were and how best to go about applying. I am now in my first year at UCD studying a Sustainability degree and loving it. I have to pinch myself daily to believe where I am now and am so grateful to all at Killester (Cathal Brugha) who believed in me and contributed so much time, energy and passion to help me and so many others achieve our goals.
