SUSI Grant

Students enrolled in a full-time Further Education PLC course may apply for a SUSI grant. This will be means tested. You can apply online to SUSI through the following site: Home | SUSI or call them at 081 8888 777 to get further information on this.

Back To Education Allowance (BTEA)

The Back to Education Allowance provides financial income support for students in receipt of jobseekers or other Social Welfare type payments, who have been offered a full time courses of education at Further or Higher level. Students should contact their local Intreo office to find further information. Please see attached a link to criteria:

Back to Education Initiative (BTEI) Part-Time courses)

The Back to Education Initiate (BTEI) is aimed at students returning to education to complete a part time course. All eligible candidates will have course fees waived. These courses are free to Asylum Seekers, EU Citizens, or persons with leave to remain in Ireland.

Local Partnerships Funding: 

If you are in full-time education and not receiving any payments or financial support, your local community partnerships may be able to help you.

Students can contact their local partnerships for additional supports where needs be. These can offer support financially after meeting with students to discuss their needs.
